The one guarantee each one of us has heading into the new year is that the ego has conjured up plenty of new “problems” and dilemmas for us to face. Actually these are old problems but packaged to look uglier, nastier, more terrifying to us.

No matter the form of the problem, they are all the same, pointing to the same problem inside you that’s inside everyone else. Learn to look at these problems the same no matter the form, and understand that you invented those problems, but can just as easily “forgive” them by seeing their unreality and therefore no effect on you and your peace.

Everything outside of you is unreal and therefore cannot threaten you. Nothing can.

You are at home in God, dreaming of exile, but perfectly capable of awakening to reality.
