In the tumultuous days of Emperor Diocletian's reign, Romulus, a soldier, and Silvanus, a devout Christian, stood firm in their faith. Accused of treason for refusing to offer sacrifices to pagan gods, they were brought before the authorities. Silvanus, undeterred by threats, boldly proclaimed his allegiance to Christ. Enraged, the emperor ordered them to be tortured mercilessly. Yet, through it all, their faith remained unshaken. Finally, they were condemned to be beheaded. Even as they faced their executioners, they prayed for their persecutors. Their steadfastness inspired many to embrace Christianity.

Let us pray to #Romulus and #Silvanus, asking for their intercession that we may have the courage to stand firm in our beliefs, to love our enemies, and to remain steadfast in faith even amidst trials. #Martyrs #ChristianFaith #OrthodoxSaints #PrayerRequest
