Your proof of work on Twitter/X or TikTok or Instagram or YouTube is no substitute for the proof of work you need in order to be a successful creator on Nostr. Your outside-of-Nostr following may give you a slight head start among Nostr users who also followed you elsewhere, but ultimately you need to be here and active and engaging consistently in order to be successful.

The point where modern social media (MSM lol) has failed is the social side of things. It's become a set of platforms for who can get the most clicks, and drum up the biggest following.

Fuck that, who can build the best community?

Yes 🙌 I think building a thriving community is where #value4value can flourish and be a viable approach for creators.
