Your answer might be the highest I will see. Without doxxing yourself can you elaborate?

#1 you need to always have a wad to buy a 50% dip!

#2 u never know if u or Mrs loses job or need to quit because of something u don’t agree with.

I must admit I have 4months right now as been stacking since Jan.

So you live on 100% BTC standard?

Pretty much- incoming cash flow goes right to monthly expenses, everything over that is swept in BTC. We hold zero fiat savings.

How do you handle pop up costs that are not budgeted for? New car, fridge, etc

Incoming cash flow or borrow on credit and pay off with following month’s cash flow.

About 3 months and another month-ish in gold. Our kids are young and healthy so I'm probably overdoing it. But we usually approach zero fiat a couple times per year for buying dips and giving to church

3 months is where I am leaning, seem to be in a similar boat as you. Just subbing out ammo for gold 😉

Oh yeah I keep that too. But measure it only in the number of men I could equip for a year. For 5.56, I figure 10k rounds for initial training, 210 for a basic load out, cycle through that weekly on average, lands about 21k rounds per man per year. The goal is equipping at least a squad of 10. Gets way more expensive when we need crew served weapons but I suppose that ammo could be acquired opportunistically.

Now we're talking.

But supplies for 10 guys? Would figure enough for you and your family, but seems like a waste to account for friends or randos, everyone outside of family is responsible for themselves. All of this in a SHTF scenario of course

I live in a rural community so shit hitting the fan will be handled differently. Neighbors are family, and my plans are colored by experience in Afghanistan. Glad to see you and the family will be good too!
