So I discovered and am now running Owncast! It's bloody awesome, especially when zap.stream is not working/being responsive!
Just run on some cheap local hardware in the house, open up a port on your firewall for port forwarding and presto 😃
Fuck Cloudflare and other RTMP " big boys " - Self-host is the way!
