I eat mostly frozen burgers. Cheapest way I’ve found so far.

I'll flatten a 1 pound burger patty and fry it in my pan like a steak, then put a little steak sauce on it.
Once in a while I buy rib eyes or sirloin, but steaks don't seem to keep as long in my fridge as a sealed pack of ground beef does. Half the time I'll cook one steak out of the pack and end up throwing the other one away a couple days later.
Frozen steaks cook up great in Soux Vide.
