Have you heard of the underground bunkers for millionaires and billionaires that is being built in New Zealand? They believe that New Zealand is the ideal place to escape various threats, including nuclear war and deadly virus outbreaks. As if they didn't have Covid there 😂.

Western media have also mentioned hastily built bunkers owned by well-known figures as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and members of the Rockefeller family.

Imagine the world is ending, you are filthy rich, and spend the rest of your life with a bunch of asocial parasites.

No thank you. I'd rather die free under the open sky with the shahada on my last breath than live cowardly with these folks.

I moved to New Zealand and I think it is a pretty amazing place to be, especially with the rise of authoritarianism and climate change. Not because it’s a good place to build a bunker in the remote mountains of the South Island. Aotearoa New Zealand is a place with incredibly high trust, even with political divides the politics and culture here is cooperative. Sure the natural resources are tremendous and the place is isolated, but that’s not what makes it work. What makes it work is people see the humanity in each other and believe that’s more important than anything else.
