It was years ago. But I think it was problematic for a few months. I borrowed a friend's cat for a few weeks to mitigate.
Face it, you just wanted to pet the cat.
You know what. I've never really considered myself a cat person. But I've met and seen some pretty "character rich" cats that I've become attached to. Nostr cats are pretty memorable. Thinking of my man nostr:npub12rzunrxvx89f78h4df284lzvkjqetljkq0200p62ygwmjevx0j8qhehrv9 in particular.
Wouldn't say an infestation but a couple of mice have happened in the past. Traps took care of it.
