Im going say it has had an effect but I am confident it's not the main driver of lower fees at the moment.
I think I agree. Enjoy the low fees and consolidate utxo I suppose

I don't know man.
I never spent more in fees than the year I set up my lightning node.
There's so much custodial lightning now. You've also got liquid to move large amounts around.
Nobody really gave much of a shit about fees until 2021.
