Absolutely. And what is a 'conspiracy' if not two or more parties agreeing to something in secret? It literally happens all the time. What people have a problem gasping is that is can be coordinated on a mass scale.

I always like to point to the Manhatten project. At its peak something like 120,000 people were involved, and less than 100 were aware of what was actually being built.

Nailed it. The resourced people conspiring also are often sure they are doing the “right” thing with some twisted rationale. Good for the planet, the good of the species, the good of their nation state, corporation, family etc.

But there are with certainty thousands of massive conspiracies being carried out all over this planet by those with power. Anyone who dismisses that is completely delusional.

Everyone has their reasons, the issue with power is it overwhelming attracts the wrong people into those positions, and people at the top welcome them because they know there will be minimal friction with using them towards an agenda.

I guess the disconnect comes with believing that all government people are involved in something, when it is likely just a handful, and they are likely party agnostic so they never get voted out.
