So it's getting close to the end of the month. Shoestring budget is getting thin, but at least I am not broke. There's been an uptick in followers both for myself and InkblotArt. Having an audience that shares my art to other networks is a bonus. Word is making its way back to #nostr; outsiders like the #InkblotArt project, and may look at joining the decentralized protocol.
Honestly, I am feeling rough around the edges today. It's not easy quitting an addiction. But what doesn't kill me, will make me stronger. Holy crap, I really could use some strength now.
I put two sets of paintings up for sale in my Plebeian Market stall, priced per square inch they are favorites of mine, but if InkblotArt is to continue, these paintings MUST sell. Actually, if any artwork sells from my stall, it would be a boon to the art project. I am not here to get rich, but to live on a #Bitcoin standard. There is a lot of uncertainty. I have tried many projects, but I am not doing them anymore, right? These projects, such as tattooing, never materialized for one or more reasons. There is a fantastic audience for InkblotArt and all signs point to it being a potential career. Even so, uncertainty prevails.
Crossing my fingers for a part time fiat job. One of the big stressors isn't just the uncertainty, it's the money that is needed to run the project. The cost to run InkblotArt is approximately $300 per month. Every business has expenditures, but in the beginning there's often no income to be had! I suspect InkblotArt will eventually do well. But like any business, it needs an ebb and inflow of money; in this case, Bitcoin. Right now, it's all ebbing.
Something's gotta give tho, and I don't want it to be my drive to keep this alive.
Maybe it's today that has got me down.
