"Your Network" and "Your Social Graph" are both better terms than "Web of Trust" when it comes to things that aren't about trust but about you and your connections to others.

That’s a great point. Trust is willingness to be vulnerable. I wouldn’t say I “trust” people I follow just because I like their content. 😅

Following Beyoncé indicates that you probably think (i.e. trust) that she's the real Beyoncé, but that's about it. Says nothing about how much you trust Beyoncé with/on anything.
