What’s the cheapest energy solution for American miners due to 120v standards here?

1) Buy a step up/step down transformer to convert to 240v and buy a mainstream miner

2) Buy a cheaper miner that’s lower hashrate but runs on 120v just plugging into the wall

Adjusting the breakers/wiring is not going to happen and I’ve heard using the dryer plug is not safe.

Electricity rates will not be a factor for me btw

I personally adjusted the breakers wiring when I set up my mining farm.

Generally not recommended, even with a transformer/power converter.

Why 240 and not 220? Overdoing it results in waste. Better to be precise.
