A short story in 2 videos.

First video is Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺 Where 8 Union members stand around watching one guy in a digger do the work, “protected” by 2 lollipop ladies directing traffic each alone on $215k per annum.

Second video is Saigon, Vietnam 🇻🇳 Where 2 blokes have thrown up a 1m*1m metal screen on one of the busiest roads in the city for traffic control whilst they actually fix the road and riders just go around them.

How long do you think this lasts? How sustainable is this grifting when the Victorian economy literally doesn’t produce anything, and is in more debt per capita than even New York State (which at least has NYC & Wall Street to tax)?

People expect the collapse to be some big event. Like a scene from a movie.

No it looks exactly like this - parasites sucking up resources beyond what the host can reasonably provide, until the financial machine breaks and the piper has to be paid. https://v.nostr.build/3ZjFhmT8XlglmHiO.mp4 https://v.nostr.build/UczVvAqRUgWbL0u7.mp4 nostr:note1pqsmvftwhdlt47yyrzylky2sf4v47mhcvqm2e6cgwrysvn7dh2asn5luec
