I am just a begginer at Bitcoin, but from what I understand, majority (Democracy) will not rule in Bitcoin. If State backed bots becomes the majority, a hard fork will occur, and the minority will just continue with the pure and ideal Bitcoin we love albeit reduced and again to build up in network effect.
