Several days ago i saw there are Japanese misskey user that sends a screenshot of NHK TV that reports an earthquake.
There are earthquakes in Japan recently. However it's not quite big despite it could be felt.

Yes, there a software called "JQuake" where people in Japan can download, monitor seismic events across Japan, and giving an alert if there are an incoming seismic.
As you can see in livestream below of "JQuake" software, you can see if Japan is almost everyday had some of small earthquakes.
