"iris.to" is 100% nostr platform - meaning, no str. which means no open zap - only dm zap zap.

For me soetimes it is there but sometimes it ain't.

Is the lightning icon a tip button and not for zapping?

Yes, these days sometimes there are sometimes not, still in the experimental stage
