i dont believe America can be the freest and the richest country at the same time. you will eventually have to choose.

Interesting... why do you think that? I think the general point of view is they have to go hand in hand. Do you think any country can be both?
id say:
1. read it again, and dont read into it.
2. you greatly underestimate what is happening in China right now. no this is not related.
3. what youve been told about “Americas democracy” being the reason for our prosperity is a lie. we were never the richest country until we were the only major industrial country left intact after ww2. that combined with the Christian root culture of the time is the primary reason we are where we are.
i think being the richest nation and being the most dominant empire are inextricably linked.
empire and freedom will always come to conflict.
Very, very interesting. I dont know what to believe about China tbh. I have heard things like what you're saying in that they are far ahead of us, but I've also heard their economy is on the verge of epic collapse. Maybe both are true, but it's hard to know for sure.
