Hard to watch, why I'm leaving Ledger before they get hacked again. Going combo, Bitbox Bitcoin only edition and have cold card on order to further reduce surface area.

I have a bitbox02, but I don't love it, because the buttons are capacitive touch, not tactile, and depending on the orientation I hold it in, it is almost impossible to navigate. Shame, because the seed entry workflow is pretty slick. Maybe a defective unit. Who knows. I have enjoyed the ColdCard since Mk2.
But at this point, any bitcoin I don't intend to spend just gets put into a watch-only wallet with no hardware storing the seed. When the time comes, I'll use a SeedSigner.
I need to look into that, my desire is to trust no device, corp, or person. It appears the hackers are narrowing the device list.
Raspberry Pi Zero's are finally getting over the supply chain hurdles. The SeedSigner is really easy to build and use. Another great project is Specter DIY, which I can confirm works great with other desktop wallets, like Sparrow, and not just Specter.
