Today I want to take a trip down memory lane to a time when we stood up for our agricultural heroes! 🥕🍎

As some of you may know, during the Great Depression, many farmers were struggling to keep their land and businesses afloat. The banks weren't making things any easier by foreclosing on mortgages left and right. But we couldn't stand idly by while our hardworking farmers suffered! 💔💰

So, in 1935, I led the charge to make history by becoming the first government in Canada to pass legislation making it illegal for banks to foreclose on farms during difficult economic times! 💪🚫🏦
