Just a thought

Is the Trump Administration making the markets unstable to drive foreign investment (especially China) to gold so that the US can than dump gold and buy Bitcoin and basically secure the next 100 years of a US dominated world order?

The more i think about it the more it makes sense - remember how China was into silver long after the west moved to gold and how that worked out for China?

USA has gold?

Supposedly lol

Given that both China & US currently hold similar amounts of BTC, my guess that ‘chess move’ may already be covered and Chyyna may already be positioned to pivot in to BTC just as quickly as the US would be. 🧐

I understand that but would China pivot very fast?

I'm not sure they would - culturally they are much more stuck on gold than the westerners.

If - and this is a big if Trump times things correctly it could catch China off guard.

If you and I were super-powers with unlimited access to funds & we already held BTC & saw it move 20% + in short period , pretty sure we would both be manipulating our currencies & buying BTC at certain levels fully understanding the power of it . We have smart BTC guys but so does Chyynna & Russia & others .. 🧐

All except 🇦🇺 & NZ …. They’d be last to adopt .. 🤣

Don't tempt me with a good time

Nah, instead they'll just revalue the gold they have. It's still on the balance sheet for $42 / oz, the price it was when they rugpulled the world in 1971. It would make available a trillion dollar or so instantly

I know it's true, but the fact that it's valued at $42 per ounce makes absolutely no sense to me.

It probably started with an unwillingness to acknowledge the USD devalued so quickly back in the early 70's by the Nixon admin, and here we are at $3200/oz 50 years later 😅

Normies can’t the idea of “tariffs” let alone a market correction and government work force reduction without protesting.

This move would melt their minds.

I've had similar thoughts.

The incentives are there for the USG to do it. I don't think China & Russia would be quick to dump their gold for Bitcoin.

It would align with his words & actions since taking office.

I would expect more gold pumping & market uncertainty first.
