Are you Deaf, terp, CODA?
I'm late deafened, but loving ASL and wish I could find more community local to me.

I've been a terp for almost 23 years! (Yeah, Deaf community socials are great to connect w/ people. I used to go to them ALL the time.)
What part of the world are you from?
Currently living in Northern California. Originally from Utah. I grew up wearing hearing aids, but with no sign language, so I don't know any Deaf in Utah.
From Utah to northern CA - When did you end up learning sign?
👍news: There are always Deaf events. 👎news: None are focused on Bitcoiners' interests (in Utah, CA, or otherwise). I've been thinking of hosting some kind of Orange-Pill-Meets-ASL-Learners event (I'm in southern CA)... not fleshed out yet...
I moved in 2011, and started learning in the fall of that year at the local community college.
That would be a cool event! Even though it would be a bit of a trek it would be really cool to go to it.
