#nostr reuses the #bitcoin tech stack (crypto code libraries..) using the same blockchain data structure (signed merkle DAGs) but the fundamental purpose is the exact opposite: #Bitcoin is about global consensus on *one single Truth* that everybody agrees on (for the first time in history). #Nostr is about everyone having their *own subjective truths* that nobody can prevent or take away. #Bitcoin is *trustless*. #Nostr is a *web of trust*.
