It's the same pattern I see all the time:

Lots of first level replies + Conversations that branch out from some of these replies (but rarely branch out widely)

Have you tried displaying it like chat messages (starting from the second level of replies)?

hmm, I see chat layout isn't good if reply have long content, include few images or videos. Do you have any ideas for it? 🤔

I don't see what makes the difference with a thread lay out in this case 🤔

Also, I don't have those issues with my chat bubbles (so far). I can send you some designs later if needed.
