if i was doing it, i'd make a whole bunch, and have them all follow each other in a tangled web, 3000 bots, each following 2999 others

then i'd find some popular content from somewhere else and prop up like 20 of these bots to be "leaders" and repost content from some other users, probably fake profiles that copy the real ones even, then you can use this swarm of bots to fool WoT users into thinking these are a rather popular bunch and read all their plagiarised content except with phishing links inserted where the original posts had legit content, and redirect people to fake versions of those pages that are bristling with exploits on common browser extension vulnerabilities

oh it's coming tho... gonna be a cold bucket of water in the face for some i think

Isn’t this exactly why wot failed with normal websites?

it's a clear vulnerability, and how it might come to be necessary for other things, but i think combined with nip-05 and attestation services it only has limited effect...

it will help though, for sure, and it definitely lowers the cost of spam filtering for most cases

It could possibly work as part of a layered system
