We took in a homeless, neighborhood cat who got injured by a car and took him to the vet hospital for a couple days for medications and monitoring. He’s “stuck inside” our place for the next couple of weeks until he is completely healed (and he seems bored / over it.)

The vet expenses were higher than I’d imagined not having a pet in over a decade. I cancelled my trip to the BTC conference to offset those expenses so hoping to make it next year wherever it might be.
