IMO, pro-sports are part of the problem (bread and circuses) regardless of whether the betting takes place in fiat or sats.

I think a lot of people on nostr agree with you, but you are mistaken. Sports is the last bastion of meritocracy in society where excellence and greatness are rewarded. In almost all other human endeavors politics and marketing plays a huge part, but in sports, it’s about greatness, and the price for greatness is devotion to craft at a level people in other domains could only dream of.
Fair counter! A great athlete may inspire people to exercise.

Yep. Blacks are only good at Running, Jumping and Throwing objects. Tiger Woods is Asian. Lewis Hamilton's mother is white ( just like Obama's mother is white )
blacks claim the achievements of anybody with a single drop of black blood. no Asians claim achievements of Tiger woods ( even though he is mostly Asian ) and no whites claim achievements of Obama who is genetically half white and raised by white grandparents, making him more than 50% white.
Serena Williams is one of the very few black athletes successful outside of designated black sports ... and her husband is white as snow.
Race mixing is a good thing when done right. I support Serena Williams or Candace Owens having white husbands. Truly exceptional blacks should be allowed to contribute their DNA to the human race, which doesn't change the fact that Blacks are animals.
