I have been in the same spot for several years. I’ll say that my values are much more aligned with Christianity than they were several years ago, but that my lack of belief in the historical accounts of Christ hasn’t changed much at all.

If Christ is real, then he’ll likely make himself known to me at some point, so long as I maintain these values. If he’s not, then I’m already benefiting from whatever the truth behind the religion actually is.

Either case is fine with me at this point.
