The answer depends on which client you are using, since they all do feeds differently. On gossip, you'll only see things from people you follow.
In full disclosure, I realized it was someone who re-posted the note which contained the misinformation so I apologize to all the relays and all the developers and all the people on here who don’t re-post misinformation and just unfollowed the woman who did the re-post who wasn’t even following me back so I have no idea why I was following her anyway.
