#[5] ‘s is interesting:

(img order, zap count / sat total)

as someone who’s a core member of the damus team he should be receiving more than he sends, because he provides immense value to damus, which is why his sat total is square.

Doesn’t currently have onlyzaps on… but his zap count reflects that principle and he still creates more zap count than he receives, whilst still stacking.

I switch my OnlyZaps on/off for testing and sometimes forget to put back on :-)

I had a generous zap from #[4] that I am still trying to re-distribute :-)

I just like that it shows you can stack sats and still zap a lot

You actually got me thinking #[4].

In Miami, I received a large zap from #[5] for his split of the bill for steak (see note below).

Now, something we’re building is a “ZapRaiser”, where there is a target amount to be raised. But! There is another interesting use case - where a restaurant (for example) could issue a ZapRaiser (commonly known as a bill) to be paid for. The bill payer could pay it themselves, or decide to split with friends.

As someone who is not keen on pieces of paper - this bill could be issued through QR code - but that means standing there whilst everyone scans it in, or printing - or written to a reusable NFC chip that is placed on the table.

On successfully paying the bill, the restaurant could issue receipts electronically in the form of a new event kind to those who paid (do we have a kind for receipts yet?). This saves paper, and means it easier to submit your expenses / account for purchases at the end of the year (a pet hate of mine dealing with receipts for those who run businesses).

This could be expanded upon with reviews with “proof of purchase”.
