been thinking about this now since this note.
this is why i do like monero - because of the low barrier to entry, validating transactions can be done by anyone with a decent, entry level CPU, even via android devices.
Therefore, in the immediate aftermath, running monero node and validation through mining would be possible using solar. Bitcoin requires a lot of energy to run the network and more so to validate the transactions.
Either way, no electricity no digital money. non sequitur.
