I get that a lot for apps because I have my own DNS server so all my servers are accessed locally. Do you self-host at all?

an iphone is a tracking device. it tracks and records wherever you go. you cannot turn it off.

yes. but damus participates apparently?

you do not have to use it. you can use any relay and your keys as well as your postings will work there. you could use a web-based client on the phone or you use any client on a computer

I believe this is because you were out of cell or wifi range and you opened an app with internet demand. Does that square with where you were trying to access it or no?

Yup I would say it’s an OS level thing trying to connect to a network to use an internet required app. Not on Damus.
