Don't take the short cut, Facebook, Tiktok, take the hard way, listen to those who lived under communism. If something isn't going well in the US, it doesn't mean you have to embrace communism. Don't sign a pact with the Devil just because democracy in the US isn't perfect. If you are put in a position to choose between two evils, try to choose the lesser evil. Communism was, is and will be the greater evil.

Point taken, but also peole are moving just across the border from Cali into MX. Many cite being priced out by the real estate in Cali as a reason. Cursory google suggests that contingent grew by 70% roughly in the last 5y. Probably does not bode well.
