I’ve got a conundrum, and Nostr is the only place I think might have answer.

I’m looking for some kind of software/program/protocol/whatever to allow me to organize my 20+ years of digital photos.

Bonus if it isn’t in the cloud (already have Google Photo as an extra layer of redundancy).

Everything is backed up on a solid state drive, in a fire safe.

Folders are well organized, but I feel like I’m missing the functionality of writing on the back of the print, in the analog world, so I get finer details with those folders.

Thanks.

Check out DigiKam or XnView MP for local photo management with tagging and descriptions. Both are great for adding "back of print" details while keeping everything offline.
