Close your eyes.

If a thought arises, it will soon pass. Pay attention to it *as* it dissolves.

What is left, in that silence?

Become conscious of consciousness, itself.

Turn your attention onto the condition of attention.

That is who you are, before you create a thought.

It is true for everyone.

You are not me and I am not you, but you and I are the same thing.
