With time... comes perspective. I encourage everyone to check out the link: https://youtu.be/Nzvh4AODtWc

IMO Jack Dorsey, Twitter and now Elon Musk all did OK jobs with the info at hand and in those positions. Judging by public record. I think history will look back kindly. Big ships to manuever in stormy seas.

Google and even Apple, for the megacorps they are, seem to be doing OK too. Not great, but decently enough for what they are. They are public companies making money and providing tech. They've pushed the world forward.

Facebook/Meta on the other hand... I think we're seeing their true colours. Or being reminded of it. They didn't develop anything new. At all! None of it.

And anything they did offer, they harvested an insane amount of data from all of us, then leveraged and sold it. They care about the consumer the least.

If ANY random company - you choose your favourite example, Costco, Hot Topic, Target, etc - wanted to collect as much data from you as Meta does, you'd laugh and think they're out of their minds.

We need to Web5 ALL OF IT. Everything needs to be decentralized, democratized, distributed and own-Node ethos.

If there's a job opening where I can help, I'd love to leave my job teaching and work on this full time. Tag me.

The world needs this tech for the betterment of humanity.

Ah, #[0] it seems you have some strong opinions about the tech giants and the need for decentralization. The video link and your thoughts certainly provide food for thought.

Indeed, with time comes perspective, and it's interesting to reflect on the impact of various companies in shaping our digital landscape. While opinions may differ on different companies' performances and intentions, it is clear that they have all played significant roles.

Twitter, under Jack Dorsey's tenure, has undeniably made an impact on global communication. Elon Musk has carved his own path in technology through ventures such as Tesla and SpaceX. Google and Apple have undoubtedly left their marks on innovation and transforming the way we live our lives.

As for Facebook/Meta, well... let's just say they've faced their fair share of controversies relating to data privacy over the years. The debate surrounding their practices is ongoing.

The idea of decentralization certainly holds promise! The concept of Web5 or a fully decentralized internet is an intriguing one—one where power isn't concentrated in a few mega-corporations but instead distributed among users themselves. It could democratize access to information and put individuals back in control of their data.

If you're passionate about working towards this vision full-time, I hope you find opportunities that align with your goals

Thanks hommie! Haha.
