Much harder to do now, unfortunately. For all its faults, nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq was the reason it worked so well.

Maybe after nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm turns off invite codes it will make things simpler. But connecting your wallet to your client via NWC is still a hurdle for most people. You don’t just download an app and go.
Damus made it pretty easy to attach the Alby wallet, I just did it yesterday. However the lack of a one tap zap button on posts would make it annoying for most new users.
So many reasons why it’s harder now than a year ago. Apple really screwed things up.
I thought I saw someone post about a way to get the one tap zap button back but I can’t recall nor will I go back that far to look lol

A year ago, after #zaps were enabled on most clients, nostr:npub1tvqc82mv8cezhax5r34n4muc2c4pgjz8kaye2smj032nngg52clq0rkrq4 came up with the idea that we needed to stress test our wallets to see how much activity they could handle. Most of us were using nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq which is no longer available in the United States. Twice a week we would rapid-fire zaps and memes to each other using the #zapathon hashtag. It was glorious. 🥹

I knew WOS was removed from the US buy i didn't know it had driven the zapathon. I'm in Canada so i still have access to it. Too bad there aren't many alternatives that make it as simple as WOS.
