I used to be a Jack guy until a VERY unfortunate series of events in college in which I could only taste a cinnamony taste when drinking Jack and then proceeded to not know who I was. Haven’t had it since. 🥴

Had a smiler experience with spiced rum.

We started the fall semester with Kraken and Captain Morgan, and slowly ran out of money, ending up with Admiral Nelson and eventually Sailor Jerry.

A bad night with Sailor J meant no more spiced rum for Boston, like, EVER 😂

Oh god…my Father in Law, who isn’t a big drinker, loves Sailor J or Kraken. I hated beer that all my buddies were drinking so I started with Captain Morgan and it made Me want to fight everyone (I’m naturally a kind person) so I had to avoid it. I love a good rum drink now that I’m an adult but it still gives me bad memories. Scotch is my guilty pleasure now. Lol
