Lots of consternation about the comments that the VP of the Seattle Police Officers Guild made about a woman that was run down and killed by a police car (different officer) that was driving at 74 mph in downtown Seattle (25 mph zone) while responding to a call.

What no one is saying is that the call was to help someone thought to be overdosing on cocaine.

Why is the police risking the lives of innocent people walking on the street to save the life of an overdosing drug addict? THAT'S my question.
