Under a sound money people and companies wouldn’t have debts. They would have enough savings to make sure that people can work in save environments or staying at home for a certain time without problems.
Sound money can only exist with sound governance. Current governance models push for higher time preference.
I would add that "you could do lockdowns, but the population would need to agree paying for it."
