As much as plebes hate the guy for giving crypto a bad rap… the “powers that be” would benefit even more by sending a “message to the world” from his serving a lifetime in prison.

In my mind, SBF is the classic fall guy for a system that knows it will rob the millions to make a profit for the hundreds. They'll drag him through the dirt to make sure no one knows or thinks about the fact that he was a small part of a very large network of people who perpetrate these scams regularly.
