Muitas mães "castram" seus filhos (e filhas) no sentido de arrancar sua estima, podar seu potencial, suprimir sua personalidade, arrancar suas asas.
Talvez por não quererem ter sido mães, talvez nem queriam ter casado, ou por serem narcisistas, ou qualquer outra coisa que jamais justificaria⁶ tal comportamento.
E tem muito pai que é totalmente ausente (as vezes mesmo estando presente), que não se importa em deixar tais mulheres controlarem sua prole (e as vezes até ele mesmo) como manequins em sua redoma.

Many mothers "castrate" their sons (and daughters) in order to strip away their esteem, prune their potential, suppress their personality, tear off their wings.
Maybe because they didn't want to be mothers, maybe they didn't even want to get married, or because they were narcissists, or something else that would never justify⁶ such behavior.
And there are many fathers who are completely absent (sometimes even though they are present), who don't mind letting such women control their offspring (and sometimes even themselves) like mannequins in their dome.
