Humans tend to prefer learning things the hard way.

Bitcoin will not be adopted because we got everyone to read The Bitcoin Standard and we all wised up as a society and prevented a massive breakdown of our economy preemptively.

Bitcoin will be adopted when the old system crashes and burns in devastating fashion. When there is simply no other viable option.

I wish it weren’t true. But it’s good to be realistic and be prepared.
