The bluebird flew too close to the sun. Ascendancy does not translate into solvency. I deactivated my Twitter account 2017. Haven’t looked back. So happy with #Nostr and its philosophy and practicality. Still, it is sad to see bomb-throwers deface and defecate the public square that was.

I love Twitter—especially Bitcoin Twitter. This was both a lifeline and an education over the last 6 years for me. Unfortunately, it’s plagued with some large scale problems and noise. Maybe it’s just society amplified under conflicted management? Love free speech, and appreciate much of what Elon is doing. Still, feels like effective and decisive solutions are not embraced (Bitcoin, Nostr). He seems to to shake up the form and functions like a showy bartender mixing a cocktail.
I guess he’s in the arena though, so I hope he steers it in the right direction.
This seems fair. I am appreciative of his project-building, engineering abilities, while bewildered by his apparently destructive tangents. We shall see (said the blind man).
