Elon fired a bit too many engineers. In centralised systems entropy builds up slowly and suddenly causes issues. That might be the advantage of a lighter protocols like nostr on wss. More resilient to central disruptions.
X is likely under another DDOS attack. I'm not sure any platform could survive that easily.
