While I agree with the sentiment, I see that you're a Lutheran, and this is an Orthodox chant. The Orthodox are Christianity's Pharisees. They use the bible to their own ends, but directly contradict it in practice. They teach people to chant this line, even suggesting that you could go for hours just chanting that, while counting their chants on beads. Its appealing, until you read the part of the bible saying specifically not to do that. Or their "veneration" of icons, which they say isn't idolotry simply because they aren't carved in wood. They are like lawyers who use the written law to violate the spirit of the law.
