I was talking to a Major who will be resigning his commission. We sometimes do high volume calisthenic workouts together.

He attended a meeting of about 30 others who were up for promotion from O4-O5 in Pittsburg.

The dhs was there to address them 1st. They were told they might be given the order to fire on Americans in the event of unrest during the election. A fellow Major asked if martiallaw was going to be declared. He was told no but "we are at war with rightwingextemests and magarepublicans".

The Major doesn't know what the other O4's were thinking but he is resigning.

This is a violation of our oath."
