Any DIY or open source baby monitor software/hardware people know of?

I have a 30+Tb NAS I can stream to and monitor just on my local network. I might find time in the next few weeks I might be able to throw something basic together with a raspberry PI and a lot of Python, but I dont have paternity leave for my freelance dev work...

I dont love the idea of connecting my little guy to the "cloud", and I dont really want an unencrypted radio either. #plebdad #dadstr
