Also works for me by copying the link from here to Tor. Do you have only ".onion" at the end?
Yeah the page loads fine, has .onion in it, but the video player loads for a moment and then fails with that error
Ahaaa! Interesting. Let me check that as well. Although I usually watch videos on my phone with Tor, so shall work fine.

I am on Android, and Tor Browser. Not sure about iOS.

I use that, and not the "Watch on Youtube".
Oh I’ve never pressed that watch on YouTube button since I figure it would defeat the purpose. Maybe I’m wrong about that.
Yeah, weird. I guess the difference between on or off tor is that the invidious instance knows who I am as opposed to nobody knowing? Still with no ads and much less addictive ui I’m getting a lot of the benefit.
Wish the creators had zaps set up already so I could support them to mitigate the guilt of skipping the ad😅
I agree with you, it would really defeat the purpose.
Maybe, do you use VPN? If yes, it could be that your VPN + Tor does not work out? Maybe you could try a different VPN server in that case?
