I DO THE SAME ALBEIT WITH MONERO.
And it works most of the time without adding anything. People just get it.

It's actually not 100% true. As I am not a maxi I often offer both Bitcoin & Monero. And I couldn't care less if they want LTC or BCH. I will pay them in what they are ready to receive (with a bias to Monero for privacy reasons) as every transaction that routes around the fiat war ponzi is a win for all of us.
The goal is to get rid of the merchants/contractors fiat mindset. The rest will follow.
